Fall Harvest Two Tiered DIY Tray
Tiered Trays are all the rave right now and there are so many darling one’s out there. Have you noticed the price tag on some of those tiered trays? I have yet to find one that I like under $45.00. Making your own tiered tray is so much cheaper then buying one so here is a simple tutorial to follow on how to make your own. First off you will want to find two separate trays either both round or both square. Make sure one tray is smaller than the other. By using different sizes of trays you can see the items on the lower tray better. If not you…

Fall Farm Fresh Pumpkins Mini Tag
Have you fallen in love with decorating tiered trays yet? They have become one of my favorite home decor pieces. I love finding and creating new small scale crafts to fill up these trays for each holiday or season. Because I haven’t had my tiered tray very long I didn’t have many small items for fall or Halloween. I wanted to create some things to fill it up. Back in the summer, I had created these painted rustic wooden patriotic star and stripe tags. I had a few extra tags already painted white leftover from this project. I knew I could turn them into something with a fall theme. With the…

Festive Fall Leaf Sewn Table Runner
Do you remember our plethora of Table runners that we purchased many years ago? If you do not remember let me spark your memory! Check out these previous posts on our table runners: St. Patrick’s day table runner Summer Table Runner or our fun Patriotic July Runner. Little did we know that these runners would create so many fun projects! Since we have done every season we felt a Fall Leaf table runner would be perfect! The reason this one was so perfect is because the already pre-cut burlap leaves came in a pack for only $1.00 at the dollar store! Each pack includes 5 leaves so it makes sense to buy a…

Fall Harvest Wood Pumpkin
I know this may sound crazy but the dollar store has some awesome and cute deals. We found the leaves and the metal Harvest wording at the dollar store. If you cut your own pumpkin you will want to make the pumpkin with a flat edge along the bottom. This is so the pumpkin can either stand on it’s own or lean against something. I cut the pumpkin out of pine on my scroll saw and made sure the edges looked wavy like a pumpkin. The versatility is endless on which type of wood you want to use. Once the pumpkin is cut you can sand down the edges of…

Fall/Thanksgiving Feather Slat Board Sign
Have you ever had that moment when you pull something out of storage and find that it is in pieces? This happened to me a few weeks ago. I was pulling out my Thanksgiving decorations and as I lifted up my large Gather shutter it came apart in a million pieces!!! I wanted to cry! My Gather shutter was a key decoration for my front porch, and it was broken beyond repair. As I stood there looking at all the shutter slats everywhere, I realized that they could be repurposed and made into something different and, I had a large void to fill on my porch. I decided to create…
