Halloween Glittered Witch
This was a fast and very easy craft! Paint a block of wood, tape off stripes Mod Podge stripes and dump that glitter on! Once dry I used a frame that was bought on clearance for about .10 cents at Michaels. Painted it black, Mod Podged it also then dumped the glitter on it. Cut out the Girl Witch on the Cricut using black vinyl. Then added a little pennant to the corner. Super fast and turned out cute!

Halloween Hershey Kiss count down
Halloween Hershey Kiss count down I’m flying by my blog today to do a quick post about a craft I stumbled upon and just had to make! Directions can be found on Eighteen25 for this fun project. I did change the color of the tabs on the Hershey kisses to give the board a little bit more color. But here is a run down of how I did this project. I had my husband do all the cutting and tracing. He is a perfectionist when it comes to drawing the lines and making all the holes even. So, he drew out all the lines/holes before the board was painted. He…

Cedar Sign Post for each holiday
Pumpkins Apples and Hayrides My husband got this idea that if he built one post to put in the ground that I could rotate signs out for every holiday. So, he bought some cedar 4×4 (yes their actual size is 4X4) Some tend to be smaller but these posts are true to the 4×4 size. He notched out the wood by using a saw and chisel. He made the post approximately 8′ tall but when put 2′ into the ground it stands around 6′ tall. The notch in the post let the other post lay sideways into it. So, the opening of the notch out is 4″ so they fit…

Dollar store owl floor mat
Owl floor mat Check out these floor mats my girlfriend bought at the dollar store (not our style and not real cute) So, we applied a couple of coats of fun, funky bright lime green paint! (wall semi-gloss paint) once the paint was dry we found some owl templates online and cut them out on the Cricut using contact paper We stuck the contact paper owl templates onto the dried mats and chose 4 different colors to paint the cute owls we did a few coats of paint on the owls too (just used normal toll paints) once they were dry we removed the stencil, sprayed a clear sealer over…

How to make a framed chalkboard
Framed Chalkboard This was a craft that I came up with for our family reunion I purchased a lot of 8X10 and 5X7 frames at a garage sale for .25cents each. I brought them home and removed the glass from them. I purchased a thin piece of wood and traced around the glass centers onto the piece of wood. Then Justin cut them out for me and I inserted the wood centers into each frame. We removed the center of the frame and spray painted them with chalkboard spray paint While the chalkboard spray paint dried we worked on painting our frames – this part was a little more difficult…

Knife, fork and spoon quick craft
Knife, Fork and Spoon kitchen décor. This is one of those projects that got started and shoved to the side for almost a year. The Knife, Fork and Spoon in this project came from a random junk drawer at my girlfriends house. I spray painted them red then they ended up in a random junk drawer in my house. They sat there, and sat there, and sat there. Until I finally got tired of that junk drawer and cleaned it out. Then the set made it down to my craft room where they sat again. I am redoing my family room in my basement and if you remember my post…

Outdoor bird’s nest Chandelier
Birds nest Chandelier I am on a roll with my front porch!! The new craze is bright funky colored chandeliers. But in the yard??? with birds nests?? Yep! Check mine out – Made from a $3.00 brass garage sale chandelier. Of course spray painted in the same turquoise as my picket fence. I never in a million years thought I would put a Chandelier out in my yard! But I have to admit it is kind of fun and funky! I have added some more Sprague’s of greenery/flowers to it since these pictures were taken but you get the idea right? I found this idea on the V Spot This…

Front porch picket fence
It’s time for summer time colors! When I see a project on Pinterest there are times I can’t hold back and I just have to create it. So, when the wheels get turning sometimes I can’t stop until I have it completed. Although I do have to admit sometimes I have my own ideas on how I want a project to look verses how someone else’s project turned out. I am ready to bring on summer and with summer comes the bright cheery colors! My front porch has always been an area that I like to look festive. The picket fence idea came from Positively Splendid I didn’t use chalk…

Spring Ribbon Wreath
Spring Ribbon Wreath Crafts seem to go together faster when you have someone along side of you to work! Well, I take that back – It all depends on what the craft is! This beautiful ribbon wreath was fun only because I had two awesome friends that I got together with and made these beauties.. although I must say they took FOREVER to make. Maybe because we were all so tired or maybe because it took a while to hot glue each individual ribbon into place! First we took a pool noodle (purchased at the dollar store for $1.00) and cut them in half. Then taped the ends together with…
