DIY Designer Halloween Plates & Severed Finger Goulash Recipe
This post is written by me on behalf of Tyson Foods, Inc. All opinions are entirely my own. This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #ClubBash #CollectiveBias Every year I host a girls night out Halloween party and this is the 6th year I have hosted. After all these years I have a routine down for planning and preparing items for the party. Starting in August we make hand crafted prizes, write the guest list, and design invitations. While putting up my Halloween decorations and bringing out other Halloween essentials in preparation for my party, I noticed that I am lacking in Halloween themed serving dishes. So I…

Polka Dot Mini Pumpkins make over DIY
During one of our many garage sale adventures we found these Mini Pumpkins. They were painted but pretty basic and just a little out dated. We were able to purchase all of the pumpkins that they had for only $1.00. These Mini Pumpkins were going to come home with us to get a little face lift! First off I sanded a few of them down to a rustic and faded orange. I made sure to get rid of the dark orange lines on the pumkins. Once they were sanded I then added glittered polka dots to the existing orange paint. The easiest way to glitter them is by putting dots of…

Autumn Skies and Apple Pies Sign
One of my favorite ways to make signs is by layering different types of boards together. I saw this fun phrase on a Cricut web page they had made a pallet sign. I decided to layer a piece of bead board that I painted orange and distressed with a thin smooth board that I stained. I glued the two boards together and then created the wording by cutting white vinyl using my personal cutting machine. I centered the vinyl wording over the stained board and applied the vinyl. I love how using different types of wood and techniques can create a new look.

Fright This Way Sign
It’s that time of year again! Avry and I are getting ready for our upcoming Halloween party. Last year we gave out 90 prizes and every year we always try to out do ourselves! We are on a quest to create at least 90 Halloween prizes to give away this year. Saw this idea for a sign that said Fright this way. I still had a few bracket boards cut out and assembled from other projects I have done. I love the bracket board shape and knew it would be perfect for this project! If you want to make one of these signs you’ll want to start out by white…

“I Wheelie like you” Bike Pillow
Because I choose to update my August summer porch of course I would also need some pillows to go on my bench. I used some left over yellow chevron fabric for the base of my pillow. I used the envelope method to create the base of my pillow. After I had the base of the pillow sewed. I created a template using my personal cutting machine. I cut the bike design in green iron on vinyl and then cut the wording in black iron on vinyl. After I cut and peeled my design I centered and placed my iron on design in the center of my pillow. Next I used…

“Life is Good” Hanging Bike sign
For the last few years I have placed a bird cage sign out in my front yard on my hanging sign post. When I pulled out my bird cage sign this year, I knew I was ready to change it up. The bird cage sign just seemed a little dated. I had already added a few bike elements to my porch and home décor for the month of August so, I decided to keep with the theme of bikes. I found a few ideas where a bike replaced the 2 “o’s” in the word good. I decided to create my own version of this sign. The back of my 4th…

This is How I Roll Bike Sign
With the summer coming to an end and school fast approaching I wanted to change my décor on my front porch. It was time to take down the patriotic décor but I didn’t want to put up my beach themed décor and It is just way to early to bring out my fall stuff! Thinking of school starting I thought about how much I enjoy riding my bike. Always loving the bike décor and remembering a few years ago when I made this bike sign that I sometimes hang in between seasons. I decided to use the bike board I already had and add a few more pieces to help finish…

Savory Eggo breakfast Casserole
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #EggoBTSTarget #CollectiveBias It’s that time of year when the kids are ready to head back to school and parents are doing the dreaded back to school shopping! This year I decided while I was shopping at my local Target store with my kids that I would also stock up on Eggo® waffles and products to help our busy school mornings go a little smoother. We headed to the frozen section of Target and found the Eggo® Waffles down the freezer breakfast isle. My kids noticed the packaging on the outside of the Eggo box that said Buy…
