Repurposing an old door for the front porch
I obtained this old door through a friend’s friend. Ha-ha! That probably sounds a little confusing but somehow it ended up at my house and I thought to myself “This has potential”. Although, I didn’t know what I would end up doing with it once I got it all done I knew it would still be darling! First, I wiped and sanded the entire door down then wiped it again. Upcycling an old hutch / curio cabinet
Every year for Christmas my family rotates names and this year I am lucky enough to have my sister and her family. My sister moved into a new home and struggles with decorating it. So, for me it is easy to have a million ideas as to what I could give her. While visiting her home recently she complained of some television wires hanging out of her wall. My parents had this darling vintage patio table with patio chairs. The is a glass table with white iron chairs with yellow vinyl cushions on them. They had purchased this patio set at a yard sale several years ago. After many sunny summers and long hard winters the yellow vinyl finally deteriorated. DIY Refurbish a used outdoor Iron Bistro table and chairs
My mother contacted me one day and told me that a friend of her’s was getting rid of a wrought iron Bistro Table. She stated that it needed some work and some TLC to get it looking good again. Of course I couldn’t turn down a free table and chairs so she brought it to me. The top of the bistro table and top of the chairs were made from a press board type of wood.
