Spring garland
I cut about 8 2×2 squares out of wood, painted each square a different bright color, made cute images and words on my cricut using different colors of vinyl, drilled holes in each corner of the tops of each square then strung them together using wire. Easy craft that added just a little touch around my front door. Do you think I should add some ribbon or fabric ties in between each wood square? Very simple but added just a little touch of spring!

Felt Flower Bouquet and new cuttlebug!
I finally bit the bullet and found myself a used cuttle bug in the classifieds. The lady selling it also gave me quite a few embossing templates but I am super excited that it cuts fabric & dies also! My friend Krystal has one and let me borrow some of her die cuts to try out. I am in love. I have also hit a few garage sales and have been able to purchase some items for this cuttle bug for dirt cheap! Including bundles of fabric and felt. I used this die to cut out the cute felt flowers for my spring bouquet I used buttons to garnish the…

Easter Subway Art
I love subway art and I have done it a few different ways. This time I took a piece of wood and cut all the vinyl out on my cricut. Since I bought the sure cuts a lot software it is so nice not to have to buy cartridges for my cricut anymore and I have been able to be more creative! I am still trying to figure it all out and I know I have wasted some vinyl and paper but how else do you learn? I am seriously dying to have a nice new camera. A big beauty that will take clear cut pictures! But for now you…

Easter blocks
I needed a quick gift for a friend and came up with this in an hour. It is nice what a couple of pieces of wood, some paint, a blow dryer and a cricut can create! This was before I added some embellishments. I added a white button and some cute ribbon around the blocks.

Simple to make colorful Easter Egg Hanger
Easter Egg for my pine bead board hanger. So, do you remember my valentines hanger and St. Patricks day one too? Well it is a new month and new holiday time to switch it up! For those of you who have been asking about this darling little this is what I have done to create this. I took a piece of 1/2′” plywood and cut it into a 12″ x 12″ size then I took an 1/8″ piece of bead board and cut it into a 10″ x 10″ board. I painted the bottom one black and the bead board an off white. Once dried I sanded the edges of…

Easter Printables
Printables are an easy, quick and beautiful way to spruce up a frame and change out for each holiday. I stumbled across these printables and became excited because they are soo classy. They are completely different then anything else I have seen. I love that there are no bunnies or eggs on them! (not that I don’t like bunnies for easter I just liked that these were so different) Thanks Blooming Homestead for the free printables! The next few pictures is of a cute little egg I went and made at Wendy’s Make and Take. Wendy has been a HUGE inspiration to me and she crafts on my level (with…

Felt Rosette Balls
The craft blogging world is endless. I find myself jumping from one blog to the next and with each blog I find inspiration and talent. I find myself making a HUGE list of ideas. Saving many blogs as “favorites” and doing what it takes to create each idea that I get into a craft! I also like to try to save money in the process and reused items from my home or at least pick it up somewhere on sale! I can’t wait until it is garage sale time because there are a lot of people out there getting rid of all sorts of craft supplies! My next inspiration came…

Spring wreath
I discovered a mesh type ribbon when my mom brought me a roll at Christmas time to add to my Christmas tree. It was lime green and I was in love with the stuff! I added it to my Christmas tree and it POPPED! When I saw this wreath at Kristen’s Creations I got immediately excited! I knew right away I had to make one! So I took this old wreath: (which needed a makeover anyways as it was 7 years old) and created this wreath: I took old bunnys I had from about 5 years ago & a sign I bought last year on after Easter clearance for $3.50…

I am still yawning. What a whirlwind weekend we had last weekend and I am not going to lie for the most part for me it sucked! Not because we didn’t have a lot of good things going on because we really did. But overall it was very stressful for me. I have decided I am not going to sugar coat my posts anymore those who know me will love me for who I am even if I choose to be negative sometimes. haha!! I am going to be REAL. So back to the weekend Savanna made the choice to be baptized and what a great decision! We have been…
