Burlap Christmas Stockings
Burlap Christmas Stockings I had it in my mind that I wanted to create some Christmas stockings for a friend for quiet some time but kept putting it off due to school and work and kids etc. So, one night in my extreme frustration of life I knew she too was having a rough time so I dropped everything and sat up into the wee hours of the night to create these awesome stockings! First off I searched for a stocking that I could use for a template. I found an extra one in my Christmas storage bins and so I set out to trace around the stocking I found.…

Holiday Joy Blocks
Joy pedestal blocks We actually made these Joy blocks about 18 months ago (yes in July) for our Super Saturday. We did a Christmas in July theme. My husband did an outstanding job of cutting out 20 of these sets. So overall he cut 50 individual blocks and bases. This was a super easy craft to do and to save on money I purchased an old wood crib at a garage sale. Yep, you heard me right a crib. Now I didn’t get a mattress with the crib so I didn’t have to worry about that part but I did get the metal frame which was thrown away almost as…

Stained Wood Thankful Board
Stained Wood Thankful Board I used a 1″ thick board 7″ x 27″ – It was a left over piece from some other project (can’t remember which one) Anyways stained in a dark stain. Printed out the letter printables from Shanty 2 Chic Although my boards dimensions were different so the letters had to be altered in size a bit to match. I did not attach photos to mine as she did in Shanty 2 Chic. I left it as a shelf sitter type plaque. I love how it turned out and love the stained look lately! Follow my blog with Bloglovin

How to make a quick Skull Goblet
I purchased the vase at the dollar store for $1.00 And I also purchased the base at the dollar store for $1.00 I glued the two together with E6000 then let them dry. Once dry I also glued some lace black rose trim along the bottom left over from some lamp shades I had refinished and a thin strand of ribbon a long the top. I had fun with this little shelf. I added a candelabra I found at a garage sale for .50 cents then added some skeleton taper candles to go a long with my Skeleton goblet. I even made some smaller one’s and put straws in them…

3D Framed Pumpkin
3D pumpkin This is another fast easy project. Much like the 3D spider I made. This was done on a 5×7 frame. Took a pumpkin from the dollar store. Cut it in half & glued it onto the glass portion of the frame, add a twig for the stem and a little ribbon. Put some cute scrapbook paper behind the glass and easy enough you have some fall décor! There are several versions of this going around and I can see why. It is super cute, fast and cheap to make!

Dead and Breakfast Sign
I have an assortment of Better Homes and Garden magazines, cook books and emails that I hang on to because they always have something awesome to share! Over a year ago I posted this Dead and Breakfast sign from Better Homes and Garden After I pinned it I watched it get repinned and repinned over and over again that is how awesome it is. I fell in love with the sign and knew in October of 2012 that I would somehow create it in 2013. And so it is…. The tracing of this project gave me fits and after I traced it multiple times onto the wood I brought my…

Spider Door Mat
Spider Door Mat This doormat was another fast and easy project. The mat itself can be bought at any Lowe’s or Home Depot. They come in rolls and you have to cut it to the size you want. This Mat is also lined with a thin rubber on the back and outdoor grade. First we took chalk and just freehanded a spider web out of the chalk on the mat. Once that was done we went over the chalk lines with a thin brush and white paint. (we used just normal toll paint) Then we cut out the silhouette of a spider out of contact paper and pressed it onto…
