It is pretty exciting that the new Wonder Woman movie is coming to theaters on June 2, 2017! I love all of the super hero movies and this one is even more special because it’s main character is a woman! I felt compelled to put together a night of fun with all the Amazing Women in my life. Inspired by the movie, this night will include treats and the opportunity for my friends to come together and reconnect!

To add to the excitement, I received a goodie box filled with some fun Dr Pepper® items such as a cute sling back bag, a fun light-up Bluetooth speaker and a Dr Pepper Koozie to keep my soda nice and cold while drinking!  We’ve had so much fun with the little speaker – it changes colors just by tapping it.

In preparation for my Wonder Woman get together I made a trip to my local Kroger brand store Smith’s Marketplace and purchased some Dr Pepper to drink along with some Orville Redenbacher’s® popcorn. The items are fairly easy to find because Smith’s has an awesome Wonder Woman display in their store.

How fun is this? Orville Redenbacher’s® popcorn and Dr Pepper both have limited time Wonder Woman themed packaging!

With a get together like this I made a printable to invite my friends to this Wonder Woman inspired girls night out. Therefore, this invitation is a free printable!! So, if you would like to host a party for the Amazing Women in your life all you have to do is print it out and fill in the blanks! Easy enough!

Since I like a good party along with the invitation, I made gift bags with a cute free printable tag that says: “Thanks for being a wonderful friend”.

Inside of the bag I included my amazing peanut butter & chocolate popcorn bars using the Orville Redenbacher’s® popcorn.

To make these delicious tasty bars you will first place sugar and corn syrup into a sauce pot and bring it to a boil on your stove. Remove your pot from the heat and add in the peanut butter and stir the mixture together.  Next, pour the peanut butter sauce over the popped Orville Redenbacher® popcorn. Mix the sauce into the popcorn until the popcorn is completely coated.

Press the popcorn peanut butter mixture into a greased 9″x 13″ pan. Once you have done this you will want to drizzle melted chocolate on top of the popcorn peanut butter mixture and let it set for about 20 to 30 minutes. When the chocolate has set back up then cut the peanut butter & chocolate popcorn into bars.  (Recipe Below).

Slide a popcorn bar into each cellophane bag along with a Dr Pepper soda. You can attach a red, yellow and blue ribbon on the top of the bags. By doing this it gives the treat the feel of super power colors!
