The days of Summer
Yikes sooo much has happened and I of course am behind on blogging so this may get long! Shout out to my 13 year old son – another year completed at scout camp & he is officially at a life ranking. He has to complete 6 months of activity and he has basically got his life. He WILL have his Eagle by the age of 14 if he keeps going at this rate. I am sooo proud of him as I haven’t helped much with it – he has done it on his own. He completed the mile swim at scout camp!! Just had to brag a bit about my boy!
On the evening of July 15th my awesome brother had us all down to his house in Salt lake for a barbeque. He is a true host! His friend Mark & himself put on a huge dinner with ribs, salads & delicious appetizers. My mom, sister Tiffany & her family also came. I am very very grateful that I have such a close family & that we have such a great love for one another! THANK YOU JASON for the awesome brother you are.. I loved the barbeque! Here are some pictures from that night.

On July 16th my stepdaughter Savanna celebrated her 11th Birthday! I took Savanna to work with me in the morning where my mom came and picked her up and took her with her and my sister Tiffany for the day. They hit the dollar store where Savanna spent the money my mom gave her then they enjoyed lunch at Cafe’ Rio. I later met up with them at my sister Tiffany’s in Eagle Mountain. Tiffany was also having a CAUSE party this evening that Savanna and I were able to attend. Tiffany got creative with the theme & did a little tropical theme. Now if you do not know what a cause party is it is where all money donated goes to a charity of your choice. Johnson & Johnson sponsored it & gave away free product to all who attended & donated. Tiffany chose to donate to “The Center for Courageous Kids) and Johnson & Johnson also donated $100 what a way to party and it be for a worthy cause! We had a fun time & Tiffany even had a special cake for Savanna with some fun candles in the “tropical theme” (If you are interested in more info about a cause party let me know)
The Birthday girl with her Birthday cake! (We forgot to take some home to Justin & Sam oops!)
My mom even had a Hawaiin shirt and grass skirt for Savanna to wear. Although we couldn’t get the skirt to stay on!
There was delicious food & good company!
Here are my mom & I putting together all the food for the fun event!
We also put together a rag quilt for the center for courageous kids we were donating to.
after the Cause party & Savanna getting all sorts of goodies we journeyed home to have Savanna open her presents.
She has been dying for an American girl doll so her and Maeli could play with their dolls together and that is just what she got!
I accidentally left my camera at Tiffany’s house so this is the only picture I really got of Savanna – it was taken with a cell phone so sorry if the quality isn’t the greatest.
It seems like I forget to bring my camera or leave it at home or someone else’s house always when I want to get a shot! Darn it!
Anyways there is so much more to blog about but I will have to save the rest for another time! 🙂

Good times. I love living so close to you and getting to see you so much. Thanks so much for all your help with the cause party. I couldn't have done it without you and mom!
LIFE IS GOOD!

I am having a hard time keeping up with blogging as well. Savannah is getting so big! What a fun birthday she had. We need to have a cook out before school starts!

Jason's backyard is so much more aesthetically pleasing this year than last year's barbecue with the giant dirt piles. LOL!
Maeli can't wait to get home and play AG dolls with Savanna. They will probably be able to relate to each other more in that area. LOL My girls never caught onto the AG thing, even with the beloved Julie visiting the Stewart household.
I liked seeing all of the pictures! Boy is Savanna growing up.
Keep up the good work with scouting Kaden! That is an accomplishment that will always look good on school applications and resumes for the rest of your life!

Congrats to Kaden, he is rocking the scouting thing!
Happy B-Day to Savanna!

YaY for Kaden I am so impressed. You are a fabulous Mother Avry. How sweet of your Mom to take Savanna to celebrate her birthday. Recently I found a pic of Savanna and Hayden, I think she was 3 weeks old an he was 6 weeks old. I will have to scan it and get it to you. I always remember her birthday because she and Hayden were due with in days of each ther. Time flies and life keeps going, I am so glad that you are apart of her life! ~E
