DIY Rustic Re-purposed Wood Shutter With Hooks
I have had this old Wood Shutter sitting in my garage for several years. I purchased several shutters at a garage sale for $2.00 and then found more! Both Krystal and I had 6 shutters for under $5.00 over the years I have used the shutters for various projects. I’ve made a Noel sign for Christmas and a Flag shutter for the 4th of July. But WAIT!! Who could forget the Thanksgiving Shutter ?? As you can see I have used Shutters for each holiday but I had one full length one left so I wanted to create something for my sister. Dining Room Table Re do
I Built my home in 2010 and during that time dark colors were in. Black tables, Black coffee and end tables – darker wall color, dark cabinets and every shade of tan, brown and cream colors were in. Knowing I could figure out something for the seat I asked my dad to bring the chairs to my…

Polka Dot Mini Pumpkins make over DIY
During one of our many garage sale adventures we found these Mini Pumpkins. They were painted but pretty basic and just a little out dated. We were able to purchase all of the pumpkins that they had for only $1.00. These Mini Pumpkins were going to come home with us to get a little face lift! First off I sanded a few of them down to a rustic and faded orange. I made sure to get rid of the dark orange lines on the pumkins. Once they were sanded I then added glittered polka dots to the existing orange paint. The easiest way to glitter them is by putting dots of…
