St. Patrick’s “Lucky” Marble Frames
St. Patrick’s “Lucky” Marble Frames
I made these Valentine marble frames that I saw back in 2010 from Tater tots and Jello. I have loved them so much and I pull them out every year to display. I decided to use the same idea and make similar marble frames for St. Patrick’s day. I decided on the word “Lucky” of course. This is a simple project and can easily been done in 30 minutes or less. I think the hardest part is choosing the the paper you want to use for you background. There are so many fun patterns! I picked out my paper, cut the paper to fit the size of the frames. I also cut some cardboard from old cereal boxes to use as a sturdy backing. I used the same frames that I used for my xoxo Valentines display I just removed the valentines inserts and purchased an extra frame for the 5th letter. All of the frames were purchase from the dollar store so this makes it a really inexpensive project. First using tacky glue I glued my patterned papers to the cardboard that I had cut. I wrote each letter in light pencil on the different sheets of pattern paper then I used this as a guide to glue my marble’s in place. I used E6000 glue to place the marble’s on the pattern paper. After I let the marble’s dry in place. I put the the paper inside the frames and put them up for display.

I love this idea! I have a bunch of blue marbles left over from my son’s wedding. I need to come up with a word to use those for!

I love this. I’m always looking for crafts that I can do because I can never think of ideas on my own. St. Patrick’s day is one that’s much harder to brainstorm than the other holidays. This will be a great project for me and the kids.

I love that this craft is SO simple! I would make these – but with my kids’ names rather than LUCKY so they could stay out year-round.

This is such a cute idea! I think it would be great to make different ones for all the holidays/seasons to change out.

Cute. Imagine all of the possibilities if you have the entire alphabet.
