St. Patrick’s clover pillow

I posted this pillow idea in my seed packet tutorial.  Like I said “I may just have to make me a pillow like that”.  I got right on it!!! Here is my copycat version of this unavailable for purchase pillow.

first I made a templet out of freezer paper, using my silhouette machine.  I ironed the freezer paper onto a cream fabric square, I cut.

I painted over the wording black and the clover green.  I let it dry and then peeled off the freezer paper.

next I used some painters tape and measured out 2 thin lines on each side of the design.  I painted in between the lines green. Let dry and then peel off the painters tape.

after the painted was dry.  I pinned right sides together.  Then sewed to make my pillow cover.  I used the envelope technique to make this pillow cover.  Now I have my darling St. Patrick’s Day pillow!
