Sour Cream Sugar Cookies
When I was a teenager I had a leader in my life that I absolutely adored. She was somewhat like a second mom to me and I found myself sometimes sharing more with her then I did my own mom. She taught me a lot and shared a lot with me including my all time favorite sugar cookie recipe. Marcene after all these years I still use this sugar cookie recipe and I hope you don’t mind if I share it with my followers!
I will include the recipe below. My icing recipe is super easy too! I cube of cream cheese and two cups of powdered sugar for the best frosting ever!!
Also as a child growing up my mother started a tradition with us kids in which she would bake dozens of sugar cookies each Christmas and we would spend hours icing them. I have since adopted that tradition with my kids and every year they enjoy frosting the cookies! Didn’t this years batch turn out cute?
