Pressure Cooker Spicy Pasta Soup
Recently I invested in a pressure cooker for cooking! Not the type you do canning in but the type you can speedily cook meals in! My garden is in full harvest right now and I am getting all sorts of delicious vegetables from it! Including some Cayenne Peppers. So, a few years ago my son wanted to plant some really spicy peppers in our garden and we had so much fun daring each other to test the hot and spicy one’s! But this year I planted mostly regular peppers and just 1 Cayenne Pepper plant. I decided to incorporate Cayenne Pepper into this fast & delicious Pasta soup!
This recipe is FAST! It’s basically just dumping all the ingredients into the pressure cooker and stirring it together. It is a fast, easy heartwarming fall or winter dish that will be sure to warm you right up!

15 Crazy Amazing things made better with Cayenne Peppers
- 1 lb. ground hamburger browned
- ½. of a chopped onion cooked into the browned hamburger
- 2 - 14 oz. can of beef broth
- 2 - 14 oz. cans of stewed tomatoes (with the juiec)
- ½ of a Cayenne pepper (finely diced)
- ¼ tsp. Cumin
- ¼ tsp. basil
- ¼ tsp. oregano
- ¼ tsp. parsley
- ½ tsp. minced garlic
- 1 - green pepper (diced)
- 1 & ½ c. Penne Pasta
- 1 - 14 oz. can black beans (drained)
- First brown all of your hamburger and onion. While your hamburger is browning fill your pressure cooker with all the other ingredients and stir well. Once the hamburger is browned dump it in with the rest of the ingredients and stir! Put the lid on your pressure cooker and cook on high for 7 minutes.
- You can top this soup with cheese if you would like or you can add a hot roll on the side.
