    Santa Kisses

    December 6, 2019 / 0 Comments

I always try to figure out a Christmas game plan for my neighbor’s & friends a year in advance. The reason I do this is because the sales after Christmas every year are worth watching. I found this cute Santa Kisses Printable from A pumpkin and a princess a year ago! I jumped on the idea and Krystal found Hershey kisses for 90% off after Christmas last year. Making each bag only around .30 cents per bag! I’ve found if you freeze the candy right away it does just fine holding out all year long. Someone asked if the color of the chocolate changed. After inspecting the kisses and determining…

DIY – Simple Candy Cane Bath Salts with gift tag

    December 2, 2019 / 0 Comments

Looking for a small, easy gift idea for those girlfriends? This is the easiest and simplest Candy Cane Bath Salts tutorial you will ever find! First, gather the containers you will be using to give your gift of bath salts in. I found little unused brand new glass jars at a garage sale last Summer. Next, Purchase some Epsom Salt and Peppermint essential oil.  Since this is just a simple & easy bath salt I didn’t want the fizz that goes with a bath bomb so I opted out of using baking soda or any other ingredients. If I could buy just Peppermint Epsom salt I would! Per every cup…

Holiday Office Survival Kit Gift Idea

    November 20, 2019 / 0 Comments

Every year I struggle on coming up with ideas for the men in my workplace. During the holiday’s the office has an over abundance of treats and goodies.  So, the goodies idea is out of the question. Wanting to be creative yet know that my co-workers deserve something they will use poses to be a difficult task. That is until one day when my boss was reaching into my drawer to use my Ibuprofen. That is when the Office Survival Kit idea came into motion. Over the next few weeks I paid attention to some of the small items that my guy co workers used and put together my own…

    November 11, 2019 / 0 Comments

How did November get here already? I do love the fall season. However, this year has flown by. I was able to get all my Halloween decorations down over the weekend and worked on putting up a few things to celebrate Thanksgiving. Every year I notice how little decorations I have for Thanksgiving. I always think I will make or purchase more items but, I think the holiday comes so fast and then we are ready to get things going for Christmas. I love it when I can create something that comes together quickly. This Simple Give Thanks sign with Mini Pumpkins is perfect if you love a quick and…

Fall Harvest Two Tiered DIY Tray

    November 4, 2019 / 0 Comments

Tiered Trays are all the rave right now and there are so many darling one’s out there. Have you noticed the price tag on some of those tiered trays? I have yet to find one that I like under $45.00. Making your own tiered tray is so much cheaper then buying one so here is a simple tutorial to follow on how to make your own. First off you will want to find two separate trays either both round or both square. Make sure one tray is smaller than the other. By using different sizes of trays you can see the items on the lower tray better. If not you…

Fall Farm Fresh Pumpkins Mini Tag

    October 28, 2019 / 0 Comments

Have you fallen in love with decorating tiered trays yet?  They have become one of my favorite home decor pieces. I love finding and creating new small scale crafts to fill up these trays for each holiday or season.  Because I haven’t had my tiered tray very long I didn’t have many small items for fall or Halloween.  I wanted to create some things to fill it up.  Back in the summer, I had created these painted rustic wooden patriotic star and stripe tags.  I had a few extra tags already painted white leftover from this project.  I knew I could turn them into something with a fall theme.  With the…

Festive Fall Leaf Sewn Table Runner

    October 23, 2019 / 0 Comments

Do you remember our plethora of Table runners that we purchased many years ago? If you do not remember let me spark your memory! Check out these previous posts on our table runners:  St. Patrick’s day table runner  Summer Table Runner or our fun Patriotic July Runner.  Little did we know that these runners would create so many fun projects! Since we have done every season we felt a Fall Leaf table runner would be perfect!   The reason this one was so perfect is because the already pre-cut burlap leaves came in a pack for only $1.00 at the dollar store! Each pack includes 5 leaves so it makes sense to buy a…

    Fall Harvest Wood Pumpkin

    October 21, 2019 / 0 Comments

I know this may sound crazy but the dollar store has some awesome and cute deals. We found the leaves and the metal Harvest wording at the dollar store. If you cut your own pumpkin you will want to make the pumpkin with a flat edge along the bottom.  This is so the pumpkin can either stand on it’s own or lean against something. I cut the pumpkin out of pine on my scroll saw and made sure the edges looked wavy like a pumpkin.  The versatility is endless on which type of wood you want to use. Once the pumpkin is cut you can sand down the edges of…
