Old Fashioned Wood & Vinyl Sleigh Holiday décor sign

Confessions from this girl – I love the dollar store! But what really bites is when you find a darling metal sleigh ornament at the dollar store and sadly only purchase two. So, you find yourself driving to 8 different dollar stores. Only because all of the other stores were sold out. Yes folks! Sadly that happened to me. Here is what was created from the majestic 2 silver sleigh’s. Some Old Fashioned Wood and Vinyl Sleigh Holiday Décor sign.

This project was pretty easy and I’ll show you step by step on how we did it. First Measure the wood piece that you are going to use.

Next using your personal cutting machine type on the word Sleigh and of course using the font that you would like.

As you can see in the photo above the piece of wood we used is a left over piece of wood flooring. So there is no painting prep that needs to be done. You’ll want to apply the whole word “Sleigh” and then remove the “E” once the wording is in place.

Where the E has been removed hot glue the ribbon of your choice around the wood board.

Glue the cute Sleigh ornament on top of the ribbon. Isn’t is crazy how much detail that little sleigh adds?

Old Fashioned Sleighs are the best and I wish we had more of them still around. I would love to jump in one every Christmas and go for a Sleigh ride.

We have so many other darling Christmas ideas to share with you! Check out our Christmas section on our blog to follow along and try out some of our projects. How fun it is to know that Christmas is coming soon!
