Night in Excellence

I am in the Young Women’s presidency in our ward & last Sunday night was our Night in Excellece where each girl displays the talents & goals they have reached throughout the year. Our theme was “Each daughter is a shining daughter of God” we expanded on that theme & decided to make it like a night at the Emmy’s so we rolled out the red carpet, lined with stars that had each of the girls names on the stars, We hung stars from the ceiling with their names on them also & gave out “emma” awards in catagories of the 7 values. We also had paparazzi (the bishopric which had exclusive backstage passes) and a place for picture taking, along with a slide show of the Miamaids, beehives & Laurels. To top the evening off we made amazing delicious cupcakes adorned with glitter & stars.

It was a lot of work but worth it to see the girls shine! Now on to New beginnings!
