Mother’s Day Simple gift idea & free printable
Mother’s Day Simple gift idea & free printable
I love celebrating Mothers’ Day! I love the idea of honoring our Mothers’ for all they do! I always make a special something from the heart for my mother and offer some kind of service to her. When celebrating this day, I have so many wonder women in my life. Although they may not be my mother, I like to honor them in some way. I am always looking for something I can do for them. Weather it’s a small gift or treat, something just to let them know I care. Several years ago, I had a friend give me a copy of this” Why did God Make Mom’s”. It was just a plain typed on a sheet of white paper. It has several questions about moms that someone asked elementary age school kids and there great answers. I recently came across this fun paper and decided to freshen it up. I have put these same questions and answers onto a fun free printable. Just as years ago when I received this fun paper with a little treat. I will be passing out this cute printable with a treat, to someone of those other special ladies in my life. I hope they feel just as special as I did when I received this act of kindness on mothers day. I know all these little kid snippets are quite fun and amusing. If you are looking for a thought that touches the heart to give with your gift. I would check out this short story The invisible woman. I have also given this story attached with a small treat or gift. It would highly recommend reading it, this story hits home for a lot of moms.
To make your own Simple Mothers’ Day gift, purchase treat or gift of your choice. I choose to give out Dove bars, Ghirardelli bags and if time permits I am planning on dipping some pretzel rods! Print off the free printable below The invisible woman story and roll it up like a scroll. Next tie ribbon around to hold in place and embellish as desired. I had these pre-cut plastic flowers and decided to thread them on to the ribbon. I am planning on printing off some to and from tags to tie on these also!
You can print from here Why did god make moms or Click on the image below copy and paste into word or your program of choice and print.

What a sweet Q&A for about Moms! I love making homemade gifts. I can never find anything that really days what I want to say. And I absolutely treasure all the home made gifts my girls have made over the years.
