Monogramed Chevron Canvas
Monogramed Chevron Canvas
I purchased 2 small canvas’s at Hobby lobby using the 40% off coupon I ended up getting the two for $1.50 On one of the canvas’s I brought it home and taped sections off using painters tape.
Once it was all taped off I painted the canvas in Yellow. Once Dry I removed the painters tape to reveal the white chevron stripes underneath.
I painted a wooden “S” (found also at Hobby Lobby) in a turquoise color and once it was dry I glued it to the canvas using E6000. Super easy!

This is a fantastic idea! I am going to try to do this for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Thank you for the inspiration!

I can see the pencil lines you made before you put on the painters tape. How did you get rid of the pencil lines when the painters tape was removed?
Avry
I put the tape on the other side of the pencil lines so when you paint the chevron it covers up the pencil markings.
