It’s great to be EIGHT!!!
August 31st and finally our last Birthday to celebrate for the year! Whoo hoo! 4 kids Birthday’s in such a short period of time feels like Christmas. Now that we have recovered we can move on to Christmas (HA!) I will wait a bit for that.
Samantha turned the mighty EIGHT!! So not only did we get to celebrate her 8th Birthday we also got to celebrate the 3rd baptism in a year! All of our kids are now baptized!!
Sam got jipped in the fact that she had to go to school on her Birthday and we had to go to work but I think overall she still had a great day!

Sam joined in on the American girl craze at our house and asked for one for her Birthday. She got Chrissa the doll for 2009 along with the video.. Love the expression when she opened it.
Of course Sam needed a picture of her new doll with her sister’s dolls Julie & Kit. Then Sam couldn’t leave out her original doll… So here you have it.. doll mania at my house!
Perfect timing for some new school clothes!
Sam is following in Kaden’s footsteps for the love of cheesecake.. this domestic mama was all out of fuel after doing every bit of Birthday shopping for all 4 kids and celebrating each birthday. So I left the cake up to Justin… and this is what she got- A cheesecake with icing on top! 😉 all that mattered is that it was full of sugar, it was cheesecake & we let her have as much as she wanted.
I will post pictures of the baptism once I get them off the camera. I am growing more and more attached to my two step daughters. They do have their quirks but so do I and together we are learning. Happy Birthday Sam!!! love your step mama!

Hooray for Sam getting baptised! Bummer about going to school on her birthday, but on the flip side, you get attention from people at school because it is your birthday. I never got that growing up. Boohoo… LOL
You can tell Sam that Aunt Jeralee really, really likes cheesecake also…. mmm, mmm, mmm!
