First day of school
The first day of school was total chaos for me. For 4 years I have been getting one girl up & out the door not 3. Talk about a lot of DRAMA and a lot of heads of hair to do. I woke up pleanty early to allow myself time to get everyone ready but for some reason I completely missed Kaden- yep good mom I am he was out the door and off onto the bus before I even completed my shower! YIKES – I felt like a bad mom. Just as we were walking out the door I spilt a whole protein shake down the front of me & Sam cut her finger. Maeli has always been a little mother hen & she frantically told me to run upstairs and change my clothes for work while she bandaged Sam’s finger for me. All three girls were already in the car waiting when I realized we were going to be late.. sheesh! We get to the school & I ask the girls to let me get a quick picture of them. As soon as they were done I jumped back in the car that was in the “drive thru” lane & turned just in time to see Sam do a face plant on the cement. I couldn’t just leave her there so I proceeded to get out of the car when the lady behind me started to honk I gestured towards Sam in a not so nice way and she realized what was going on. Talk about a crazy morning! Needless to say Kaden finally text me back and said he got to school just fine and all 3 girls had a great first day! Although I feel bad I didn’t get Kaden in on a “first day of school” picture. He says that is okay because he is getting to old for it anyways!

Sounds like a day from Hell. LOL. BTW, I can totally picture Maeli telling you to change your clothes and putting the bandaid on. I was laughing at that as I know EXACTLY what you are talking about!
LIFE IS GOOD!
Oh how cute! The first day never goes as you plan it. Yep Maeli to the rescue.

The first day was rough for us too. I haven't had to do it since Kyli started 3rd grade and now she's in 6th, I guess I'm a little out of practice. All the girls look so cute though, you'd never know it'd been a crazy morning.

Gotta love that trip back into school routine. It takes us a good couple of weeks to get used to it again…and even then we still have those mornings! The girls looked so cute for their first day, and I'm glad it went well for them!
