Easy Thanksgiving Treat boxes & Free Printable
I love this time of year! The air gets crisp I often find myself baking and crafting more and with that comes thinking of others. I always want to share what I have been creating with friends, teachers, and co-workers. Because I am working now,I am limited on time but, wanted to make a little something to let those special people in my life know that I am thinking of them. I had these pre-cut gift boxes on hand and knew I could easily decorate and fill them with a few thanksgiving treats.
To make your own Thanksgiving treat boxes you will need:
pre-cut boxes (I found mine at the dollar store)
Ribbon or Tulle (Your choice in colors)
Fall embellishments
Tools:
Scissors
Hot glue
Hole punch
First I assembled my boxes and hot glued them together.
I measured and cut burlap ribbon to fit around my box and then glued the burlap ribbon around my box.
Next I tied orange fall ribbon around the box. I added a small piece of green tulle when I tied the orange ribbon.
Then I hot glued and acorn to the center of my ribbon.
I filled bags with candy and tied them with another ribbon. I placed the bags inside of the decorated boxes.
I printed these tags that I created a few years ago with a Thanksgiving poem on them you can find the printable here. I cut out and attached the tags with jute that I tied around the boxes.
I can’t wait to pass out these Easy Thanksgiving treat boxes!
