Easy Fall pumpkin bead board decoration
I had a few scrap pieces of bead board hanging around my house. With our annual Halloween party coming up, I was trying to come up with ideas of what I could use this extra bead board for. I knew it would be easy to cut a large pumpkin shape out of the bead board. This was how the idea for an easy fall pumpkin bead board decoration was born.

To make your own Fall Pumpkin decoration you will need:
Scrap piece of bead board
Tree limb cut to size
Fabric
Jute
Ribbons
Hot Glue
Jig saw
Sander
First you will want to draw a template for your pumpkin size and shape. My template measures 12 1/2″ tall by 12″ wide. Next you will trace your template onto your bead board.

Then you will cut the bead board using a jig saw.

After your pumpkin shape is cut, you will sand the edges and white primed area of the bead board to give it a distressed look.

I trimmed a few branches off of our trees and cut a 3″ piece to use as a stem for the top of the pumpkin. Then you will glue the 3″ tree branch onto the top of your pumpkin

You will cut 5 mini triangles measuring 2 1/2″ out of your choice of fabrics. I used leftover fall patterned scraps. You will glue the 5 triangles to a piece of jute and then glue the mini banner across the front of your pumpkin.

Last you will make a junk bow using several ribbons of your choice. You will tie the junk bow around the pumpkin stem. How will you decorate your Fall pumpkin bead board decoration?
