What is not to love about fun and funny Doormats? Those first moments ringing the doorbell and waiting on someone’s doorstep is the first impression of what that family is like. While standing there I always look down and see what their choice in a doormat is. Whether it’s a plain mat that stays out all year round or one that is changed for every season. It gives me a glimpse of their personality. Of course, I like to change my doormat out with every season, holiday, or anytime I can! There are so many ideas for Holiday Doormats that I decided to make several and give them out as Christmas gifts! One of my favorite things…

Kick your winter cold in a cup
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc., Campbell’s® , Lipton, Premium Crackers, Theraflu and TYLENOL®. All opinions are mine alone. #SickDaySolutions #CollectiveBias #ad I am a full time working mom that commutes an hour each way to work. To say that my plate is full is an understatement. During the winter months it snows, gets cold and with my schedule it is more likely for me to get a cold or the flu. I don’t have time to be sick but when I am I like to be prepared. Most common cold’s linger for longer than we would like so I came up with this handy Kick…

Silver White Winters That melt into Spring Sign
A few years ago I found a sign that said “Silver White Winters that melt into spring” on the hymns and verses blog. I have had this sign on my to do list for what seems like a few years. Before Christmas I decided that I was going to make 2 of these signs one for Avry as a Christmas present and one for myself. I looked at the picture of hymns and verses and got to work using supplies that I had on hand. I used a piece of bead board that was already pre-cut to my desired size. I cut the lettering out of vinyl and applied it to the…

DIY – Flakes and Flurries Winter Wood Sign
January is blue.. Literally I take down all the Christmas Decorations and I feel a little bit of a let down that all the beautiful décor is gone. Last year I made it a goal to decorate in winter, snowflake, snowmen and ice skating themed crafts to keep my spirits up. It helped a lot last year to have new colorful decorations to put up after the hype of Christmas was over. It’s been fun incorporating different hues of blue and aqua colors into my home during the month of January. I’ve loved watching all the Flakes and Flurries come down from the sky so that too helps me enjoy Winter…
