Spring Ribbon Wreath
Spring Ribbon Wreath Crafts seem to go together faster when you have someone along side of you to work! Well, I take that back – It all depends on what the craft is! This beautiful ribbon wreath was fun only because I had two awesome friends that I got together with and made these beauties.. although I must say they took FOREVER to make. Maybe because we were all so tired or maybe because it took a while to hot glue each individual ribbon into place! First we took a pool noodle (purchased at the dollar store for $1.00) and cut them in half. Then taped the ends together with…

Paint Stick Easter Bunny tutorial
Paint Stick Easter Bunny I have seen a few different versions of this around the web except they are mostly all bigger and made from pallets or large pieces of wood. Here is my small version. Take about 10 to 12 paint stir sticks and line them up. (but don’t line up the handle part to match) If you do line all the handle part of the stick it may look funny. I staggered mine and you can see how I used two paint sticks to glue the other sticks together (this picture is a back view of how it should look when all glued together) Once they are all…

Building an Easter basket with Crayola (Giveaway)
Celebrating Easter with Crayola There is nothing better than the snow melting and watching Spring make it’s arrival. Along with Spring comes the arrival of the Easter Holiday. Each year I pile up my cart with an assortment of candy just to deal with tummy aches and wrappers afterwards. This year I am shaking up the arrival of Easter by filling my kids easter baskets with items that will inspire their creativity and learning. Crayola is just the brand to help me with that. Enough of the over abundance of candy! Crayola has many many products to inspire little minds. More than just coloring pages crayola offers a line of…

Wooden Stamped Easter Eggs
I had some left over stands that I had made to use with some wooden hearts in February for Valentines so, I took them and painted them a bright green. I then cut out some wood in the shape of eggs and drilled a hole in the bottom of them for a dowel to go into. I painted them a solid color then used white paint and a flower stamp for the yellow egg and purple polk a dots with mod podge and glitter for the blue egg. Once dry I added some Tulle and called it good! Quite festive and cute on an end table don’t you think?

Get your peeps on – wood plaque
Although peeps are on my list of gag candy to eat I sure do think those fluffy little marshmallow guys are cute. Although I have used a peep like for a marshmallow when making a S’more and it was tasty! But to eat them plain it is all I can do to choke one down. However when you put those little guys into a craft they suddenly become a favorite of mine! I took a 12×12 inch pine board and painted it yellow While it was drying I took a peeps svg file that my friend emailed me and cut 12 peeps out of vinyl on my cricut. I stacked them upside down from…

How to dress up your front porch for spring
Sometimes it’s just too hard to contain my craftiness inside of my home therefore it spills out my front door.. onto my door and of course onto the cement SO, it ends up looking like this! I had the bunny made for me by an excellent crafter Wendy at Make & Take isn’t it the cutest bunny ever??? She does craft classes twice a month at her home! The carrot on my front door I made myself out of beadboard, a little paint, glitter & ribbon for a bright carrot! If you remember from last year I made the garland above my front door you can see it here . The cute pink pillow covers I got from GiGi’s…

Spring Plaque with a Rosette Wreath
I seriously have the best friend in the world! Look what Krystal brought me to brighten up my day! A Beautiful Spring Plaque with a Rosette Wreath. I would have to say besides my hubby she is my best friend! She is one of the few that really knows me and knows what I LOVE! Look how cute this is? She took some ply wood painted it off white then scuffed the edges. She added some cute blue vinyl lettering along the bottom to spell out “Spring” Then made a cute crepe paper rosette wreath that drapes by a ribbon down in front of the plaque! Too stinking cute! Love love…

Spring Pinwheel Garland
I love spring and all the different ideas that are out there! This idea came to me from Organize your stuff now She had a fourth of July banner on here along with a tutorial. I thought this would be cute in spring colors and can be left through the summer. Although I did mine a little differently and instead of doing a banner I ended up doing just a strip over my pantry door. Kind of cute though huh? I also thought it would be cute to put these on a pic and insert them into a cupcake. You could make these all different sizes from Large to small!

Spring Banner
I borrowed a die cut from my girlfriend and cut this banner out of scrapbook paper. I haven’t been much into the banner’s but when I saw how cute this was on my basement mantle I fell in love! I added some cute flowers and glittered them, although you can’t see the glitter it added so much. I also added plastic egges in between each pennant. Just opened them up and clamped them shut on top of the string. I had some hurricane candle holders that have always had candles in them. I took the candles out and put in some cheap plastic easter eggs!(The sissors on the mantle are…
