Quick Easter Gift idea
Last week we introduced our “The world needs S’more PEEPS like you” tag. This week I needed to round up a few fast gifts to drop off to some friends and neighbors. I was short on time and wasn’t able to whip up a batch of the S’more bars from this post. I stopped off at the store and purchased a few packs of the fudge striped cookies and a couple of packages of PEEP’s. I tied together the PEEP’S and fudge stripe cookies and attached one of our tags with some ribbon. Simple as that 5 minutes later I had 3 treats to drop off and no mess to…

DIY Easter Egg Burlap Table Runner
Avry and I are table runner kind of gals. I don’t know about you but, I always love have different runners to put on my table. I love to change the up for each season or holiday. As I was going through my stack of runners I noticed I didn’t have an Easter themed one. The last few years I have been putting on a multi colored one or a burlap and lace runner that is an all occasion one. I had seen a burlap runner with white Easter eggs around the edges at a gift shop the week before and decided I need to create something similar for my…

Rest Your Tail Easter Board
In my last post I talked about pre-painted wood scraps you have on hand. This was another quick project because of pre-painted wood. Avry came over the other night and we decided we needed to be productive so, while we were chatting and catching up on life. I added this little bunny and saying together in my computer program. Next we cut the saying our of purple vinyl using my personal cutting machine. We pulled out 2 white boards that we had pre-painted a while ago. I gave them a quick sanding using my electric sander. We centered and applied the vinyl to the boards. We thought they still needed…

Thrill of the hunt Easter sign
With Easter right around the corner, Avry and I decided we better get to work and come up a few new fun items to add to our Easter décor. You all know how much we love vinyl! It is just so easy to work with. Often Avry and stockpile wood scraps, if we are painting some for a project we will often paint a few more boards. It is really nice to have pre-painted boards on hand. We usually try to have white and black pre-painted boards on hand and a few colored ones. A couple of weeks ago we painted several boards in spring and bright colors in preparation…

“DIY” Gift shop clock
“DIY” Gift shop clock I was in a gift shop last week and fell in love with this clock. It was mounted on this cute chevron board. The price was out of this world. I decide I would give it a try and make one on my own. Plus, I thought it would help freshen up my home for spring and Easter! I love to change things around in my home and The white and teal color is so light and airy! During my Garage sale adventures. I found this clock and paper covered frame. I scored a serious deal. Hop mini burlap banner
Hop mini burlap banner For this project I had the pleasure of working with consumer crafts. They have a wide variety of craft supplies that are very affordable for crafters. I was able to use their Pre-cut mini burlap 3 pack buntings for this project. I love that consumer crafts has such a variety of supplies. They have everything from kids craft supplies to home décor, floral, scrapbooking and party supplies. My favorite part is you can shop in the comfort of you own home. Sometimes, I just don’t feel liking leaving my house and can still shop and order all my crafting goodies. This was a 5 minute project!!!…

Felt Bunny Treat Bags
Felt Bunny Treat Bags I fell in love with these darling felt bunny bags, while I was snooping around on this blog. These are really simple to make. I already had a few yards of white felt on hand and several scraps of fabric. These only take about 10 minutes from start to finish to complete one bunny bag. I even simplified mine a little more. I’m not a big fan of hand stitching. So, I chose not to stich the sleepy face on my bags. I hot glued a pink pom pom on the backside for a tail. To get started print off her free bunny bag template. Cut…

“DIY” No Sew Polka Dot Spring Banner
“DIY” No Sew Polka Dot Spring Banner I have seen all kinds of fun printed burlap and knew I wanted them. Then I went and looked at the price of these printed burlap fabric’s and saw that they were $15 per yard!!! Yikes that is a lot of money! uhhhh no thanks!!! even with a coupon for 40-50 off it still isn’t worth that price for me. I can usually buy plain burlap for $2 a yard on sale or with a coupon. I came home and decided to see how difficult it would be to create my own. Believe it or not this banner only took 15 minutes to make. …
