When we have plenty of time to prepare and plan a party then we tend to go all out! Working full time keeps me pretty busy so I usually need time to plan for parties. All opinions are mine alone. #RaceDayRelief #CollectiveBias Get ready to start your engines because it is race day at my house! Any time there is an event we have good food with friends over. I decided to plan a small get together with a few friends to watch the big race. I knew it wasn’t going to be a huge over the top party, but I still wanted to add a few details to make it special. I headed to my local Wal-Mart to pick up food and a few party supplies. While at Wal-Mart I passed by the pharmacy area which reminded…

Tender Barbeque Chicken Marinade
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company. All opinions are mine alone. #BestSummerBBQ #CollectiveBias Summer is in full swing at my house and so are the Barbeques on the deck. I love the smell of a grill that has been fired up and has sizzling meat cooking on it. Especially if it is meat that has been marinated over night or a fresh rub of seasonings brushed on. I like to put a little more effort into a barbeque when guests are attending so I like to shop at Sam’s Club to Find the best selection of meats, marinades, side dishes and tasty summer…

How Sweet it is sign
As you know I was commissioned by a good friend to help with her daughter’s wedding. I created this Family name bracket board sign for the lovely couple. I was also given the assignment of making a sign that said “HOW SWEET IT IS” They wanted the sign to be used as a backdrop for the sweets bar that would be served at the reception. I took on the task of making this large fun sign. I have a large mirror in the formal living room of my home, many years ago I created a vintage frame for this mirror. I knew I would be able to remove the frame…

Halloween party favors with free printables
As promised by Avry, here is how we made our party favors for this years Halloween party. I purchased the boxes at the dollar store in the wedding section, 12 boxes come in a package, What a deal! While I started cooking up the Jello glazed popcorn, Avry started folding and assembling the boxes. The packaging for this little party favors is actually quite simple. We hot glued a sheer orange ribbon around the center of the box and then hot glued a copy of our cute tag in the center of the box. Simple right! We filled clear cellophane bags with the orange, lime and berry glazed popcorn mixture…

It is that time of year again when we adorn our bodies in all sorts of fun costumes, make up, accessories and masks for our annual Halloween party! Although this year had a twist. To kick of this year here are Mine and Krystal’s costumes! We went as Jack (Sandyclaws) and Sally from Nightmare before Christmas! This year’s annual ladies only Halloween party was yet another success! Although, I do have to say there was a HUGE twist in this year’s party that had everyone intrigued, nervous, and skeptical. Let me say first off I had NO part in this twist in the party so it made it even more…

Of course Krystal and I have always been a duo of creativity so of course she was right there along with me in planning this. We had the theme of visiting teaching and to those readers of mine who are not part of my religion I will describe to you what a visiting teacher is. I am a visiting teacher and I have two ladies in my church that I am assigned to go and visit once a month. Every woman member has at least two…

Rocket Party ” Daddy & Daughter Date”
I help with a youth group here in my area, a few times a month we have different activities for elementary age girls to participate in. About every 6 months we do a larger activity or party and we usually try to involve the parents. We knew that we wanted to have some kind of dad and daughter activity this time. We searched pinterest high and low and couldn’t really find anything that we knew the dads and daughters would really enjoy. After I had done a few Google searches I finally came across this great idea for a rocket party. I knew we could take the idea and make…

Baby shower party favors I was asked to create a baby shower party favor, for a shower I was attending. I was pretty short notice, I knew it needed to be simple. I found these free printables here. I only used her water bottle labels and circle tags. She has 2 options available for boys and girls, She has prints and games. Everything you would need to throw and entire shower. I love the ready to pop theme. I already had these stampin up brand take out boxes. I choose to wrap the printed label around my take out box and then tie ribbon and the circle tag on top. I filled…
