DIY Designer Halloween Plates & Severed Finger Goulash Recipe
This post is written by me on behalf of Tyson Foods, Inc. All opinions are entirely my own. This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #ClubBash #CollectiveBias Every year I host a girls night out Halloween party and this is the 6th year I have hosted. After all these years I have a routine down for planning and preparing items for the party. Starting in August we make hand crafted prizes, write the guest list, and design invitations. While putting up my Halloween decorations and bringing out other Halloween essentials in preparation for my party, I noticed that I am lacking in Halloween themed serving dishes. So I…

Frozen Creature “Fanta-stic” Fog Drink
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #WickedFantaFun #CollectiveBias Each year Krystal and I choose a theme for our annual Halloween party and this year we decided it be a masquerade Halloween party. Each woman adorned their own masks and joined us for an evening of giveaways, prizes, and food! We usually have 25 to 30 women in attendance so, we always have this party as a pot luck so some women we assigned a salty treat to share and some we assigned a sweet treat to share. We like to come up with a creative drink to share with our guests and this year we wanted to do a bit…

Polka Dot Mini Pumpkins make over DIY
During one of our many garage sale adventures we found these Mini Pumpkins. They were painted but pretty basic and just a little out dated. We were able to purchase all of the pumpkins that they had for only $1.00. These Mini Pumpkins were going to come home with us to get a little face lift! First off I sanded a few of them down to a rustic and faded orange. I made sure to get rid of the dark orange lines on the pumkins. Once they were sanded I then added glittered polka dots to the existing orange paint. The easiest way to glitter them is by putting dots of…

Fright This Way Sign
It’s that time of year again! Avry and I are getting ready for our upcoming Halloween party. Last year we gave out 90 prizes and every year we always try to out do ourselves! We are on a quest to create at least 90 Halloween prizes to give away this year. Saw this idea for a sign that said Fright this way. I still had a few bracket boards cut out and assembled from other projects I have done. I love the bracket board shape and knew it would be perfect for this project! If you want to make one of these signs you’ll want to start out by white…

Rustic Wooden scrap Pumpkins
I had several odds and ends of boards lying around. It wasn’t really enough for a project I was hoping to do, I was tempted just to throw the boards away. You all know I am a craft hoarder, I hate to throw out anything that has potential to be something amazing. I started playing around and placing the boards together and then I saw this idea over at make it love it and knew this boards could be cute rustic pumpkins. I placed 3 boards next to each other and then traced a pumpkin shape around the boards, I also took 2 more boards and placed them side by…

Halloween count down boards
Everyone loves a countdown board! I love it when I get to use and repurpose random things I have laying around. I had purchased this blue scalloped square tin for .25, Avry has had this unfinished wood board at her house for ever. When we talked about making some countdown boards for prizes for our Halloween party, both of us knew we had just the item that would work! I started out by spray painting my blue tin with chalkboard paint. Avry painted her board all black with craft paint. Next I cut 2 different countdown style wording out of vinyl, using my personal cutting machine. Avry looped several ribbons…

Halloween glitter frames
These glitter frames are such a fun addition to your Halloween décor. They are very simple to make, and were a huge hit at our Halloween party this year. I couldn’t believe how many people wanted a glitter frame over some of the larger prizes we were offering. To make the glitter frames, I purchase several 5 x7 frames that have a thick or large frame or edge, I paid around .25 per frame. Next I bought some of the wooden design frames at my local craft store, depending on the design they can be .59-$3. I generally by the cheaper ones that are $1 or less. I spray painted…

Skulls topping everything
This year we were on a skull kick. I found skulls for 90 percent off last year and several more at yard sales through out the summer. One of our favorite ways to use up all of these skulls was to put them on top of candle sticks and jars. We painted a bunch of the skulls with gold spray paint and others we glittered in black. We had a huge variety of skull themed prizes to give away at our Halloween party this year. The next time you see a skull think of the fun ways you could transform him.

Halloween print and transfer pillows
Right now I am in love with this iron on print and transfer paper. I have used many techniques to get images transferred on to fabric. The print and transfer paper is by far the easiest way to do it! There are so many fun free images all over the web! I totally utilized some of these free images and made a variety of pillows with this print and transfer technique. First up I made burlap pillow wraps for these 2 chevron pillows. On the first one I went into word and spelled Harvest in a fun font. One tip: If you are doing and words of lettering do forget…
