Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, yams, furit salad, veggie tray, hot rolls, home made cranberry sauce, carrot pudding, pumpkin pie, cheesecake.. Yep that is what my day consisted of. That and watching my brothers, son & nephew play xbox 😉 I love hosting Thanksgiving at my home, I love the preparation and the time spent with family but most of all I enjoy STAYING HOME. Trick or Treat!!
Boo to you! Halloween at our house is always fun every year. Here are some pictures to prove it! We love to carve pumpkins every year! Dressing up is always fun and so is trick or treating (as long as it isn’t cold)Sam was a VampireSavanna and her Friend Kimmie were Geisha girls. They experimented on their makeup the day before halloween & after using the make up & cleaning their faces of 3 or 4 times they said their faces were sore & hurting so they opted out of using make up on Halloween! I thought that was pretty funny! Kaden was a Whoopie Cushion. He went out with…

Got Turkey??
I admit I am old fashioned in some ways. I like a traditional holiday. I like to be home for my holidays. I want the Turkey, the stuffing, the Yams and potatoes. I want cranberries, with hot rolls & lots of pie. None of this eating chinese food on Thanksgiving or Christmas for me. NO traveling to Hawaii or somewhere exotic either. I like tradition. I like to be home enjoying my loved ones. I host Thanksgiving at my house every year for my family and to be honest I really enjoy it. I shopped for the perfect tablecloth that was the right color along with the right size. I…

Pumpkin carving and no kids for Halloween
All the kids were gone to their other parents over Halloween so I didn’t get a single picture of them in any costumes. It was such a bitter sweet feeling. It was the first Halloween EVER that I haven’t seen my kids but yet it was a very relaxing Halloween which I might say I enjoyed. There was no hustle and bustle of finding the right costume or the running in a hurry from door to door. We had our own fun at home watching other’s kids come trick or treating to our house & I did get a kick out of my husband for scaring a few! Martini our…
