Paint Stick Easter Bunny tutorial
Paint Stick Easter Bunny I have seen a few different versions of this around the web except they are mostly all bigger and made from pallets or large pieces of wood. Here is my small version. Take about 10 to 12 paint stir sticks and line them up. (but don’t line up the handle part to match) If you do line all the handle part of the stick it may look funny. I staggered mine and you can see how I used two paint sticks to glue the other sticks together (this picture is a back view of how it should look when all glued together) Once they are all…

Glitter cup tutorial.
Glitter cups!! I love this next project! I see these cups and smile. I had a gathering at my house about a year ago and fought to win this cup! My daughter and her friend each wanted one also so, I decided to make a few myself. First stop at your local gas station. I used a 16oz. refillable cup (with the cup, lid and straw they only charge .25 cents) Next, came the oodles of mod podge and glitter. I just purchased a $2.50 bottle of glitter and the mod podge that dries clear. I coated the cup in modpodge then poured glitter all over it then put another…

Valentine fabric heart shaped wreath
Fabric Heart Shaped Wreath I found this idea on Little Birdie Secrets and followed her tutorial just as described. It was super fast and super easy! I do have to admit though tracking down heart shaped foam wreaths was difficult. NO ONE carried them and it took me looking at three different JoAnn’s stores to finally find one! I had some scraps of fabric that I had purchased at a garage sale last summer to make this wreath. I used my cutting mat to cut the 2×2″ squares. The cutting of the squares went really really fast. Once all squares were cut I used a pencil, wrapped the fabric around…

Valentine “Love” board
If you will remember I made this HOME board several years ago. And I have had an extra frame kicking around for almost 2 years with the intentions of finishing it as a gift for someone else. Well that never happened so it sat, and sat and sat. Until just last week I was eyeballing it and decided it would be cute for valentines!! So I painted the frame and beadboard white. I had a left over O and E from my “Home” words so I only had to buy an L and a V from Hobby lobby to spell out “Love” I painted the L, O and E all…

6 ft. Valentine subway art
As a crafter I am always looking for the next greatest project. Something fun yet different. Crafters are always looking ahead to the next holiday and how they are going to decorate for it. As a crafter I don’t mind when the holiday merchandise hits the shelves before it is really time because it gets my mind going! This project was an inspiration from Tater tots & Jello Now I absolutely love love Jen’s but I wanted to have some color to mine and wowza I think the vinyl would have been ten times easier! So my advice is go with the vinyl lettering. My Bff and I did the reverse…

Home for the holidays – My holiday home decor
Home for the holidays Christmas is by far my favorite time of the year. It goes above and beyond any other holiday. Each year I spend hours decorating to bring the festive feeling inside my home. Here is a sneak peak inside of my home during the holidays My time consuming tree. It is 12 ft tall but very large around. This tree was a steal at $100 in our local classifieds. I purchased it 3 years ago. I love this tree once up and decorated. It is done in lime greens and reds. Is is in my main family room. A close up from the top of my stairs…

Directions at the North Pole!!
Which way do I go to find Santa?? This inspiration came from the wood connection. All the smaller pieces on my sign I did purchased at the store already precut. But, the arrows and Vinyl were cut out by myself. I am addicted to the wood connection and find myself constantly going there! You can purchase items already finished or you can purchase kits unfinished. This project isn’t for a beginner (unless you buy the whole kit already pre assembled) even then it is time consuming. I purchased the wood at Lowe’s and cut out 3 sets. One for myself and one for each of my girl friends. I love this in…

Holiday neighbor gift idea – Soap!
Holiday Soap – Great gift idea! Super easy, super cheap! Purchase any type of hand soap with a pump dispenser. I purchased Dial that was on clearance for $1.00 a piece then I had .50 cent off coupons. So I ended up getting each bottle of soap for .50 cents. Get the bottles home and remove the labels. This is where it is time consuming. The labels will leave a sticky residue of glue and I found goo gone removes it the best. Once all labels are gone find an image on your computer that you want to use or create your own! Take your image that you have created…

Holiday Subway Art
This summer I stocked up on pleanty of 8×10 frames at garage sales. I found some for a quarter, some for .75 cents knowing that at some point I would end up using them. So I spray painted them all white. I got together with my friend Becky and had her do her wonders on creating me some subway art for the glass on my frames. She has creativity and she also has a huge vinyl machine so it goes fast, not to mention she lives up the street from me so I can run to her house and pick it up at any time! Thanks Becky for coming up…
