Spring is in the Air outdoor sign
Spring is in the air outdoor sign Yay! Everything is blooming and the dreary brown trees, grass and bushes are turning green! Tulips and daffodils are in full bloom and spring is definitely in the air! So, do you remember this lovely St. Patrick’s sign? NO??? Probably because I never posted about it last month! Either way my hubby took some wood and cut them into 24×24″ square’s. After St. Patrick’s day was over my life was CHAOS!!! (when isn’t it?) So my best friend snuck over and stole my St. Patrick’s board off my post! She then turned it over and into this beauty! Check out her Spring is…

Paper Straw Easter Carrot
Paper Straw Easter Carrot I have a bundle of paper striped straws kicking around my craft room so when I saw this cute Easter Carrot idea on Keeping it simple I knew it would be a fast “simple” craft. Thanks for the idea! This took approx. 20 minutes. My frame was picked up at Michael’s for $1.00 – painted it white and I used the same cardboard insert to just glue my carrot to. This little beauty just sits in my kitchen window!

Hopping down the Bunny Trail
Here Comes Peter Cottontail There are so many cute versions of Peter Cottontail in blog land right now! Here is my version!! I took the same plaque that I did the St. Patrick’s day plaque on and just flipped it over. Two crafts in one! Painted this 12″x12″ 1/2″ particle board, Found an Image on Google images of the bunny and added the “Here comes Peter Cottontail” phrase over the top of my bunny in a pink/peach vinyl. This was a pretty easy craft and done in about 30 minutes. Inspiration for our idea came from: Foxhollow Cottage Her mantle is absolutely darling! With school and work and kids I…

Bunny Silhouette
Bunny Silhouette I fell in LOVE with her Bunny Canvas but I am way to cheap to spend money on a canvas- I took some scrap wood I found at a construction site (they were going to throw it out) The dimensions of mine is 8 1/2″ x 11″ I painted it a light blue (honestly can’t remember exact name of color) Just a cheap .79 cent bottle of toll paint. The Silhouette of the bunny was an image found off of Google Images and Put through the Sure cuts a lot process 😉 Instead of using Vinyl I used contact paper. CHEAPER than vinyl and sticks just the same!…

17 Plaque for St. Patrick’s day
March 17th Happy St. Patrick’s day! I Loved the #14 plaque I made last month for Valentine’s so I thought a 17 would be just as cute for St. Patrick’s day! This is left over scrap wood from another project. The wood piece stand’s 12″ tall is approx. 8″ wide and 2″ thick. Painted it black- found a cute font – cut the template using contact paper. Painted inside the 17 template a light green & glittered it while it was still wet. Cute- fast and SIMPLE! Just the way I like my crafts! PINCH AWAY because today is St. Patty’s day!

Lucky St. Patrick’s free printableTag and Banner
Free Lucky St. Patrick’s Printable Tag This is a cute little gift I got from Krystal. She made a Cute Lucky St. Patrick’s banner for me – This cute banner is triangles cut out of card stock (plain white). With some triangle cut tissue paper glued onto the top of the triangle card stock. The tissue paper has gold glittered polka dots. You could do this with any cute tissue paper! Just cut the tissue paper into triangles to match the same size of the triangle card stock pennants. Using a light glue (to not cause bubbling of the tissue paper) just stick the tissue paper to stick to the…

Running / Race Metals holder
Running & Races Metal Medallion holder After running several races I learned that at the end of every race you get a metal. In the beginning I thought “oh that’s nice” But now that my collection has grown it turns into an accomplishment and a goal to do more races. I cannot believe how addicting it is! Last year both my sister’s asked for me to make them something that they could hang their metals on – and it took me a year and a little inspiration from a friend to get me going. Simple as Cutting out the wood, figuring out the phrase and adding an iron hook. (Found…

St. Patrick’s Plaque
St. Patrick’s Plaque This project was done on a 12″x12″ 1/2″ particle board. Using the same green paint as what my outdoor bench was painted in. The particle board was left the same color of brown and the template was created using multiple fonts using the Silhouette. Template was done out of contact paper using the reverse cut out method. I keep telling my mastermind template gal Krystal that she should start taking classes in graphic design because she is amazing at what she can create! This is also the same quote that was used on the St. Patrick’s printables Happy St. Pat’s!

Turning / Rotating Cards for any occasion
Handmade rotating card for any occasion It’s card group time before too long and here is what I decided to go with! I had seen the idea of a turning/rotating card that you could use for any occasion. Pixel’s and Company has a great selection of downloadable printable kits that you can use for making cards or for scrapbooking. I used the wheel of fortune template for the circle turntable of my card. I also used their templates that are compatible with sure cuts a lot (they send you the SVG file) Which I LOVE!! I used my own color scheme and added a present on my card! Such a…
