All I want for Christmas is for everyone to stop PUKING!
I don’t know how long it will take for me to forgive my sister for bringing the flu up to my mother’s house for Christmas but I must say she is pretty darn lucky that I love her..
My mom took Sav & Sam the week of Christmas up in Idaho & Kaden and Maeli ended up spending the week with their dad in Idaho. Justin, Myself and my brother Clint journeyed up on Wednesday night.
When we arrived My sister, her husband and two boys had already endured the throwing up. But little did we know that was only the beginning. My mom goes all out and does an awesome job making Christmas wonderful. On Christmas eve day my brother Geoff started the throwing up and my Stepdaughter Savanna joined in on the throwing up, I think she was feeling left out. About the time we got the kids settled down & played Santa my other Stepdaughter Sam woke up and had thrown up on the floor. Along with my mother, the two were up half the night purging whatever was in their system. The next morning Sam slept through half of the present opening and we found out Geoff’s wife Cheryl was on the bandwagon of having the flu.. 21 people together and passing the flu along is NOT a good thing.
Kaden and Maeli came to my mom’s on Christmas day where we kept them until the following day. Maeli decided she wanted to stay with me & of course ended up THROWING up all Saturday night.. “sigh”
The last thing I wanted to do over my holidays was clean toilets and wash my hands so excessively that they are peeling now.
I can’t laugh quite yet as my stomach has been feeling queasy. grrr. Just praying it doesn’t hit me.
Here are some fun pictures of the week up in Idaho at my mom’s.
Justin and Clint hanging out in the packed car on the way up!
Christmas morning we decided that there wasn’t enough room to open presents downstairs so we formed a line & transfered all presents from down stairs to upstairs.
Here is part of the gift line.. it was pretty funny & the kids thought it was great fun to handle all of the presents like that.
I have soo many more pictures to post and quite frankly I am going to be honest I got all giddy and felt like a child again when I saw the mounds of presents. It was really fun. I know Christ is the reason for the season but I can’t help getting caught up in the commmercialism sometimes. I love all the packages and ribbons and bows. I love the 3 hour process it takes to open presents at my mom’s. I get sad thinking that I might miss out on that. Anyways I will post more pictures when I get a chance!

I laughed sooo hard at the tin with the "underwear" Moura got 6 pairs of underwear in her stocking and she said "Wow! How did Santa know that my underwear was starting to get holes in it??"
It looks like it was fun – minus the stomach flu that was circulating. Here is hoping that the flu stays away from you and Justin. Justin had his fair share of flu this year already.

Oh man. I'm so sorry. I really just wanted to come to Christmas, and my boys had gotten it all out at home so I thought we were ok. It's weird that dad never got it.
